Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PropertyWatch ("the Service"), a product operated by Westropp Property Holdings LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
PropertyWatch is a monitoring service that tracks publicly available city records for property violations, fines, and citations. We aggregate publicly available data and notify you when new records match your monitored properties.
Beta Disclaimer
The Service is currently provided as a beta product and may contain errors, bugs, or incomplete functionality. Features may change or be discontinued at any time without notice, except that we will notify users before introducing any paid plans.

- Not Legal Advice: PropertyWatch does not provide legal advice. The information provided is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal counsel.
- No Guarantee of Completeness: We cannot guarantee that our service will capture all violations or records. Always verify information with official city sources.
- Not Affiliated with Government: PropertyWatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the City of Cleveland or any government agency.
Service Limitations
Data Accuracy and Timeliness
PropertyWatch relies on third-party public data sources, which may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or reliability of any information provided. Users are solely responsible for verifying all information directly with the relevant government authorities before taking any action.
No Monitoring or Notification Guarantee
PropertyWatch does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free monitoring of any property. Notifications may be delayed, missed, or not delivered due to technical issues, third-party email providers, spam filters, or user settings. PropertyWatch is not a substitute for regularly checking official city records directly.
Use at Your Own Risk
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. PropertyWatch is not responsible for any decisions, actions, or inactions taken based on the information provided by the Service.
User Accounts
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Subscription and Payments
Beta Period: PropertyWatch is currently free during our beta period. We will notify users before introducing any paid plans.
When paid plans are introduced, PropertyWatch will offer subscription plans. By subscribing, you would agree to:
- Pay the applicable subscription fees
- Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period
- Provide accurate payment information
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PropertyWatch and Westropp Property Holdings LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PropertyWatch, operated by Westropp Property Holdings LLC, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Failure to receive notifications about violations
- Inaccuracies in the data provided
- Any action taken or not taken based on our service
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PropertyWatch and Westropp Property Holdings LLC, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
